What Keith Urban Misses About 'American Idol'

As rumors continue to circulate that American Idol may be born again on NBC, Keith Urban is reminiscing about the joy of judging.

The country star, who judges America’s original singing competition from 2013 to 2016, tells Canada’s Global News Morning what he misses most about the show.

“It was fun. The thing I love those most is [Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick, Jr.] and Ryan [Seacrest], too. The comradery was just so fun,” Keith says. “People said, ‘It looked fun.’ And I was, ‘Because it was. It was really, really fun.’”

The show made its home on Fox for 15 seasons before being cancelled in 2016, but Variety reports execs are in talks to revive the show on NBC.

No official deal is in place, but talks are said to be ongoing.
