Kelsea Ballerini all but confirmed her next album will include a collaboration with EDM duo The Chainsmokers, and Cody was first to predict the duet between the unlikely artists was happening.

In an interview with E! News on the red carpet at the recent iHeartRadio Music Awards, the “Yeah Boy” singer dropped the big hints.
“But as far as the next record,” Kelsea said, “I want to do a collaboration with The Chainsmokers.”
Our report first drew attention to the connection between Kels and the duo consisting of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, noting December 2016 tweet exchanges between the fellow Grammy Best New Artist nominees.
Kelsea has long been a supporter of The Chainsmokers’ music, even posting a video of herself performing their latest single “Paris” on guitar in January.
No official word on a release date for Kelsea’s highly-anticipated second album just yet.
