Keith Urban To Be Honored at 'Grammys on the Hill Awards'

Keith Urban is about to add another award to his trophy case.

The country star and longtime music education advocate will receive The Recording Academy's Recording Artists’ Coalition Award at the upcoming Grammys on the Hill Awards in Washington, D.C.

The honor, which previously went to Lady Antebellum in 2014 and Zac Brown Band in 2016, recognizes Keith’s “contributions to the music community and dedication to music education.”

“The opportunity to work with aspiring musicians and kids, who are just discovering music for the first time, really inspires me,” Keith says. “...Being honored by The Academy, especially given the fact that they’re the ones that have given me the chance to be part of their work in this area, is humbling.”

The four-time Grammy winner goes on to call the Recording Artists’ Coalition Award “an incredible honor.”

The Grammys on the Hill Awards take place April 5 at the Hamilton Live in Washington, D.C.
