Country fans got an insider’s perspective Sunday night at the Oscars.
Keith Urban got a front row seat at the 2017 Academy Awards thanks to his date, actress and wife of 10 years Nicole Kidman. The country star first checked in from the Oscars red carpet alongside his better half, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Lion.
“[We] just wanted to say, ‘Hi.’ Sending the love,” Nicole said in a video on Twitter from the star-studded shindig.
Later, Keith returned to social media to share a behind-the-scenes look at the surprise host Jimmy Kimmel pulled on a few unsuspecting Hollywood tourists, who were brought into the Dolby Theatre and introduced to the biggest and brightest of movie stars.
“Welcome! Nice to meet you,” Nicole can be heard saying to the shocked tourists off camera.
