Another Country Star Knew Thomas Rhett's Wife Was Pregnant Before He Did

When Thomas Rhett’s wife found out she was pregnant, the country star was the last to know.

In fact, the first person—besides Thomas’ wife Lauren—to find out she was expecting was Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley.

“We were in Tanzania on a seven-day safari with Tyler and his wife, Hayley,” Thomas explains to People. “And I was literally the last person to find out in our group!”

Both Lauren and Tyler’s wife Hayley took pregnancy tests on that day in Africa, but only one rendered a positive result. 

“I went to the gym and I was running on the treadmill,” Thomas continues, “and the next thing I know, Lauren, Tyler and Hayley walk in the gym and they were like, ‘You’re gonna be a dad!’ And I was like, ‘Tyler, how do you know that?’” 

Thomas and Lauren, who are also in the process of adopting a child from Africa, have announced they are expecting a baby girl.
