Florida Georgia Line's Secret to Evolving

No Florida Georgia Line record sounds the same.

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley reveal in a new interview with Rolling Stone they challenge themselves to evolve with each new album.

From their debut Here’s To the Good Times project to their current Dig Your Roots album, FGL is now revealing how they keep it fresh.

“The more you live and travel also helps you evolve and I think our music has evolved as well,” Tyler says. “It goes hand in hand and I think that helps [us] stay relevant and fresh and continue to evolve. B.K. says we never want to [make] the same record twice, and that’s so true—we always want to continue to push ourselves.”

Florida Georgia Line, who just released their new single “God, Your Mama and Me” featuring the Backstreet Boys, were just nominated for a whopping five ACM Awards, including one for Album of the Year for Dig Your Roots.

The duo’s Dig Your Roots Tour continues this weekend with two stops in Louisiana.
