Maren Morris and Alicia Keys made CMT Crossroads proud Sunday night on the Grammy Awards.
The former collaborators of CMT’s flagship music series took the stage to perform Best Country Solo Performance winner Maren’s “Once,” a reunion she called “organic” before the show.

“I love her so much. We met on CMT Crossroads a couple months ago and just sort of bonded,” Maren told E! News. “So this is a really organic way to come back together for my first Grammys.”
As for how she calmes her nerves before any show-stopping performance, the “80s Mercedes” singer added she takes “a couple deep breaths” and takes a “little shot of tequila.”
