Tim McGraw and Faith Hill stopped in at The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday (2/10) for a joint interview with the funny lady.
When conversation turned to the couple’s three daughters and their dating habits, Ellen found out Tim and Faith can at times go to the extreme.

“There was a winter formal or something, there were a bunch of kids in a limousine. I had a sledgehammer over my shoulder,” Tim said. “That was on purpose ... You don’t want to be mean. But when somebody’s taking your daughter somewhere, you want to induce a healthy amount of respect ... and fear.”
Added Faith, “I agree with that. I was a little soft on it. But when you go through it for the first time, those of you that have daughters out there ... All of a sudden I just became this animal. Like, ‘Do it. Take a sledgehammer to the front door.’ Whatever you have to do, do it.”
Tim and Faith, who are slated to present Sunday night on the Grammys, kick off their 2017 Soul2Soul World Tour April 7 in New Orleans.
