Nicole Kidman gets up close and personal with her co-stars in her new HBO series Big Little Lies, but it hasn’t created any big little trouble at home.
The Oscar-nominated actress for Lion tells E! News husband Keith Urban understands her new role will require her to engage in some mature content.
“He knows. He’s an artist, so he knows that the work is the work, and obviously this character is ... it’s important in terms of the way in which the storyline plays out,” Nicole says.
While Keith was on hand for the Hollywood premiere of the HBO limited series, she won’t repay the favor when her husband attends the Grammys this weekend due to a prior commitment in England.
“I will be FaceTiming my husband and hoping that he wins,” she adds.
Keith is a three-time nominee at the 59th annual Grammys, airing Sunday at 8/7c on CBS!
