Thomas Rhett wants to be the star of his own show!
The “Star of the Show” singer reveals in a new interview his next dream may find him saying “Move over, Brad and Carrie!”
“I think a dream for any artist would be to host a CMA or an ACM or award show,” Thomas says, “and to get to have that host that you really mesh with and just become iconic kind of like Vince and Reba. You know, we go back and watch those clips and it’s like, ‘God, they had such chemistry.’ So I think that would be a dream for me.”
TR adds he has acting aspirations as well, commenting work in front of the camera is “one of the hardest jobs on the planet but it would be a lot of fun to give it a shot.”
Thomas celebrates another No. 1 song this week with “Star of the Show.”
His first headlining tour, The Home Team Tour, kicks off on February 23.
