Kelsea Ballerini’s man may have put a ring on it, but the couple won’t be saying “I do” anytime soon.
The “Yeah Boy” singer tells People magazine she’s never been the girl to daydream about wedding planning—mostly because she’s got other things on her mind.
“I still haven’t even thought about [the wedding]. This year’s so hectic with music that, I don’t know, I don’t think it’ll be a big priority for us quite yet,” Kelsea says.
Musician Morgan Evans popped the question on Christmas Day when, the Grammy nominee says, she was “literally in the kitchen making pancakes.”
Since then, Kelsea has been hard at work on her sophomore album, which she tells CMT.com will be finished before she jet sets to Los Angeles for the Grammys on February 12.
No official word on an official release date for any new music just yet.
