Kane Brown Heads To A 'CMT Crossroads' With Nelly

If you need a reason to feel old today, Kane Brown will give it to you.

Kane was only seven years old when rapper Nelly released his album, ‘Country Grammar.’

The two are now combining their talents for a 'CMT Crossroads' special that will premiere on Wednesday, September 1st at 10p/9c exclusively on CMT.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Kane shared his excitement around working with the rap superstar.

“I was pretty young when he released his album, ‘Country Grammar,’ but my mom was a huge fan. So, like, “Over and Over,” “Ride Wit Me,” those songs were awesome to me!” says Kane.

“Nelly is such a huge ball of energy!” Kane shares. “So, when CMT asked me to do the Crossroads, you know, I had to!”

“We have a song together that I am so pumped about. I literally probably listened to it about 15 times today,” says the country superstar as he teases his collaboration.
