Travis Denning's distinctive songs prove that he is a wordsmith. However, in a recent interview with Cody Alan, the "ABBY" singer says that he never liked English.
"My favorite subject was math, specifically trigonometry," says Travis. "I always liked math because I always enjoyed solving the problem and, like, the satisfaction of that."
"I'll never forget. I told my dad that when I was in 7th grade. I was like, "Dad, I feel like I am not supposed to, but I really like math," and my dad was a physical engineer, and he was like, "Oh my God, son, I am so proud of you." I loved it," laughs Travis.
"What's really weird is I never liked any of my English classes at all," the singer continues. "So, yeah, ultimately, love math, hate writing, became a songwriter. It makes perfect sense."
