Jason Aldean Influenced By Other Genres

Jason Aldean is readying fans for his 10th album.

During a recent interview with Cody Alan, the "Blame It On You" singer was happy to tease his 10th album saying, "We just finished tracking, and actually, I just finished vocals for the album. So, my part of it is done. We are mixing it right now and sort of getting things ready."

"This is our 10th album, so we wanted to do something a little special —something we haven't done before. So we have some surprises coming up and some stuff that is going to be really interesting," says Jason.

Could it be a collaboration album? Maybe a double or triple album? Maybe a pop-leaning album?

Jason wouldn't confirm or deny but admits that his strong suit as an artist is knowing what songs will work.

"My influences are all over the place," says the country superstar. "So, to me, it's not that big of a stretch to go out and cut a song that is a little more pop or R&B and then do something that is a little more traditional country."

"I love all of those styles of music, but I feel like when we have a song that allows me to go in a direction like that, that maybe we haven't before, it's really kind of cool and exciting to me."
