Tim McGraw's Best Advice To New Parents

Gabby Barrett and Mickey Guyton both became first-time parents in 2021, and Raelynn is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first child coming in September.

There is no shortage of new country babies on the way, and Tim McGraw was more than happy to share his best advice for new parents.

In a recent sit down with fellow dad Cody Alan, the "Live Like You Were Dying" singer shared some pro-tips, saying, "It's the greatest blessing in the world."

"Look, you are going to make mistakes," says Tim. "There is no manual for parenting, and the best thing you can do is love them. Love them through the times when it's tough and love them even more through the times when it's fun."

"You are putting these souls into the world that can change things someday," shares Tim, who just celebrated his oldest daughter Maggie's recent graduation from Stanford University with her Master's Degree.

Tim took a moment to share the moment with fans on Instagram sharing a sweet snap of his daughter captioning the pic, "We are so incredibly proud of our Maggie May!!!! She graduated from her Master's program at Stanford University this weekend, and what a celebration!!! I have such admiration for her work ethic, her fierce love of her family, and especially her passion to make the world a better place.....Go get em my sweet girl!!!! Proud Pop!"

The proud dad went on to share that he has learned more from his daughters than he has probably taught them, but his biggest takeaway from being a dad is learning the art of "patience."

"Patience, I think, is the main one," says Tim. "Especially having three daughters, living with four women. Patience is something that I learn more about every day, and I am still haven't gotten good at it. I get a big dose of humility at my house a lot."
