Jordan Davis Talks Silver Lining To Being 'Fired'

It's undeniable that Jordan Davis has the best beard in country music. He also has the best "I Got Fired" story.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, the "Almost Maybes" singer told the story behind how he was once fired from a job, which stunned him initially, but would eventually be a stepping stone leading him to Nashville.

"I had an internship my senior year of college," says Jordan. "It was a great internship, and I was working for this environmental company back in my hometown."

"I ended up getting fired with a week left in my internship," scoffs the "Singles You Up" singer. "I got fired because I didn't strap a piece of equipment down good enough, and it fell off the trailer. It was a generator, so it was like five grand."

"The guy was like, "Just turn everything in right now." But, you know, at the time, it was pretty devastating," admits Jordan.

Jordan might have been "devastated" at the time, but it wasn't long until he was onto bigger and better things, like delivering fans his recent release, 'Buy Dirt.' We are glad it didn't work out.
