Here's the breakdown of CMA Awards nominees in multiple categories:

  • Miranda Lambert leads the pack with seven nods: Entertainer of the YearFemale Vocalist of the YearSingle, Song and Video of the Year for "Bluebird"; Album of the Year for Wildcard; and Musical Event of the Year for  “Fooled Around And Fell In Love.” Miranda made history as the first female artist to score a record-breaking 55 total career nominations. 
  • Luke Combs trails with six nominations: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year for “Beer Never Broke My Heart," Album of the Year for What You See Is What You GetSong of the Year for “Even Though I’m Leaving” and Song of the Year as a writer of '" Hope You’re Happy Now.”
  • Maren Morris has a chance at winning five trophies. She's up for Female Vocalist of the YearSingle, Song, and Musical Event of the Year for "The Bones"; and Musical Event of the Year for "Fooled Around and Fell in Love." 
  • Dan and Shay are next with four nods. They're contenders for Vocal Duo of the Year and Single, Musical Event and Video of the Year for "10,000 Hours."
  • Carly Pearce also has four nominations. She's up for New Artist of the Year, as well as Musical Event of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year for "I Hope You're Happy Now."
  • Ashley McBryde is a contender in three categories. She's nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Never Will and Musical Event of the Year for "Fooled Around and Fell in Love."
  • First-time CMA nominee Justin Bieber is up for Single, Musical Event and Music Video of the Year for "10,000 Hours."
  • Keith Urban has three nominations -- Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year for "Be a Light."
