Will Gwen Stefani 'Go Country' For Blake Shelton?

When it comes to Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, they really know how to "duet."

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, the country and pop superstar duo sat down to reveal some interesting information behind their musical collaborations.

"You know, it's working," says Blake referring to his "Happy Anywhere" duet with his future wife. "If there is one thing I know about this business – it's if it's working you got to go with it. But, this is the music industry, so probably now that we know that it's working, we will decide that we need to change directions for no apparent reason and never duet together again. Also, for no apparent reason."

"Gwen- maybe a country music project is in the works for you?" asks Cody.

"I've learned so much about country music through Blake. I mean, Blake is just like a jukebox of music, and it's so funny because he will be like, "Oh Yeah, I did a song with that person." Like, every person that comes up that is a legend, he will be like, "Oh yeah, I worked with them." He blows my mind all of the time!" says the "Let Me Blow Your Mind" singer.

"As a songwriter, I relate so much to country music in the storytelling and exposing your therapy, basically," laughs Gwen. "I don't really see the difference in genres in a sense, other than instrumentation, but I don't see myself doing a country record necessarily, but um, the thing is you just never know is what's going to happen next."

"You hear that, fans!" shouts Blake. "If you want Gwen Stefani singing country music, you have to get it on my albums. That's exclusive! That's Exclusive!"
