Country breakout Ingrid Andress is the epitome of a "boss lady."
Behind her piercing blue eyes and perfect brows, she's a lyrical force with an unmatched presence on the performance stage. Ingrid sparked a social movement with the release of her single, "Lady Like," which speaks into the importance of female empowerment amidst our sometimes misogynist society.
In an interview with Cody Alan, Ingrid shared why she decided to title her album after the critically acclaimed track and shared what she hopes her fans will take away from her music.
"I feel like it's the statement that I wanted people to take from the album," says the "More Hearts Than Mine" singer. "A lot of the songs are just really emotionally honest, and I also feel like the song encapsulates who I am as a person. So, after you hear it, you are like, "Oh, I know exactly who this person is." I'm just putting it all out there."
Ingrid joins Cody as his 'CMT Next Women of Country' artist for the month of November, and for good reason. Browse the gallery to see Ingrid's top 8 power poses and stay tuned throughout the month to receive more exclusive updates and artist news.
