Could Jason Aldean’s Wife Brittany Have A Career As A Music Video Director?

The music video for “Got What I Got” is Jason Aldean’s favorite music video.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Jason revealed why this one tugs his heartstrings the hardest and shared that his wife Brittany was a huge help in making this COVID-19 created visualizer compelling and personal.

“This is my favorite video we have ever done, and it was during quarantine, so it was really weird,” reveals Jason. “We had this song out that we wanted to shoot a video for, but obviously everything was locked down. So, I called Shaun Silva, who has shot most of our videos over the years, and he put a skeleton crew together to come down to our house.”

Shaun and his small crew traveled to Destin, FL, to capture scenes that all parents understand. The kids are finally in bed, the ocean waves are crashing softly, there’s music wafting in the background, and it’s the perfect scene for a stay-at-home date night.

“We filmed the part where I am sitting on the beach singing with a guitar, that was on our back porch basically, so that was really easy!” says Jason. “I think that the coolest thing was just to have the family in there.”

“Britt had shot a bunch of iPhone videos of just the family hanging out and stuff. It was just normal stuff that she had on her phone. We were able to incorporate a lot of that stuff into the video, and have all four of the kids in there, and of course me and Britt. To have all of them in there was really cool, and it turned out to be one of my favorites for sure.”

This video is one of our favorites as well. See it for yourself by clicking the link below.
