2020 is looking real "Fancy."
Reba McEntire is hyping up living room dance floors in 2020 with a reimagined "Fancy" remix, and it's swankier than ever.
In a recent interview with Cody Alan, the redheaded powerhouse shared her enthusiasm for the re-released track. Even after 30 years, the hit is still relevant and shows all of the signs of staying power.
"I wasn't really surprised about it being a huge success," says Reba as she talks about the track. "When Bobby Gentry, when she released it in 68, it was a huge hit. I absolutely loved it. Every time that I got to sing it, I would, and then to get to rerecord it in 1990 was the icing on the cake for me."
For the dance remix of "Fancy," Reba teamed up with Grammy Award Winning DJ and Producer, Dave Audé.
"I thought he did a great job on it," says Reba. "What comes to my mind is that no matter what the production is behind it, it stands on its own. Strong song."
