Miranda Lambert has an eye for fashion and has bestowed Maren Morris and her son Hayes Andrew with the most glamorous baby gift. baby gift.
In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Maren shared that the “Bluebird” singer sent mother-and-child matching, rhinestone, fringe, and denim jackets complete with stitched monograms.
“I wasn’t expecting it, it was a total surprise,” says Maren with a smile. “What a perfectly Miranda Lambert gift with the denim and the name on the back and all rhinestones and the full rhinestone fringe. I am just so excited that we both have matching jackets. Ryan laughed and said, “What son doesn’t want to match his mother?” I was like, “He looks so awesome in this jacket that she got him. He looks like Elton John!”
Maren and Miranda continue to cheerlead each other through the uncertainty of 2020.
“She has been so supportive of my music. When I was on tour with her last fall, I was obviously newly pregnant, and Miranda and the Pistol Annies were so sweet to me and so supportive of that time in my life. She gets better and better each album, and I love being a fan, and I love her friendship and how just supportive she has been of women,” Maren shared. “You can say you support women, but the biggest thing you can do is to pay them and, she takes them on tour. I think that’s the biggest thing that you can do, and she takes them on tour!”
Maren joined Miranda's 'Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour' in 2019, which included a female-fronted lineup of special guests including Ashley McBryde, Elle King, Caylee Hammack, Tennile Townes and the Pistol Annies.
Morris and her husband, country singer Ryan Hurd, welcomed baby Hayes in March. Their first child together, the pair announced the pregnancy in October 2019 after marrying the previous year.
