Even Carrie Underwood Has A Picky Eater At Home

Carrie Underwood is continuously surrounded by music, but that doesn't mean that she isn't also hearing the sweet symphonies of parenthood woes when she is home. Carrie recently cued up her advice for parents of picky eaters with celebrity chef Rachel Ray.

"We have a thing where it's just like you have to try it, just try it," says the "Drinking Alone" singer when speaking about her 5-year-old son Isaiah. "I'm hoping one day he actually starts liking things. He likes carrots, he likes spinach."

Carrie has been a longtime vegetarian, and also shared that any meat coming from her kitchen is solely prepared by her sweet husband, retired hockey player, Mike Fisher.

"I'm not a good meat-cooker because I'm not a good meat-eater," she says. "So, I will do all of the veggies and all of the sides and if Mike wants meat, he's going to have to make that himself."

"It's about balance. It's about eating things and doing things that you love and making your body work for you," the superstar shared. "Feeding the machine the way it should be fed, but also, enjoying yourself and being able to have those moments of ya know, 'I'm eating with friends, and I'm gonna enjoy myself.'"

Carrie is also hard at work in the gym with her new fitness app. "Fit52" can be downloaded for free on IOS. Underwood's fitness guide, Find Your Path, is also available now.
