Kenny Chesney is known for whiling away his days with laid-back beach songs, rum inspired drinks, and let's face facts; he isn't shy about touting a perfectly sun-kissed glow. (Those muscles are on a next level flex.) So, what does Kenny say helps keep his body in tip-top shape?
In an interview with Cody Alan, Kenny shared that it isn't a secret meal plan or fad diet enzyme. Kenny simply applies the "No carbs after 5 pm rule."
"The thing that works for me, as far as getting lean, is I try to not eat any carbohydrates after five, and that's hard to do. That's no potatoes, no rice, no pasta, nothing," shared the "Tip Of My Tongue" singer. "I eat protein and double up on my vegetables, and I don't eat any carbohydrates after 5 pm. You go to bed at night without eating any carbs, and you wake up feeling leaner."
Kenny also shared that making better meal choices can sometimes include curbing hunger with a shake. "I do have a protein-based protein shake, so if I am hungry at 8 or 9 p.m., instead of eating, I'll just down that, and it really helps you lean down a lot."
