“Dustin Lynch, M.D” was almost a thing. Dustin was accepted to medical school before he landed a record deal. As studious as he may have been, the biggest lesson that he has learned so far comes from touring with Thomas Rhett.
In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Thomas shared a vital tip that he learned while on the road with TR and Russell Dickerson.
“Well, I think I can blame Thomas for kind of teaching me this,” laughs Dustin. “Thomas writes a whole lot on the road, so whenever he is off, he is OFF. He’s a madman, so lot of times, he is still working when he is in town. But I learned, “Wow, we can be really productive on the road and then have off days to yourself.”
Finding balance to rest, relax, and reflect is vital says the “Ridin’ Roads” singer. “It just allows you to recharge and reconnect and have a life outside of music. I think that’s important.”
