"Dashing through the snow" doesn’t have to leave you frazzled or exhausted.
“Sleep is good,” laughs Morgan. “Sometimes, it’s difficult to fit in.”
Morgan has kept a grueling schedule over the past twelve months, often bouncing between tour stops, writing sessions, and making time for his wife, Kelsea Ballerini. The two recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary and admitted that they are very intentional with their time and often split the holidays between their US and Australian families.
“It’s pretty funny. People always ask me, “We are going to Australia for the first time, any tips for the flight over? Cause you know, It can be 14 to 17 hours depending on where you are flying from. My tip is, “If you can sleep. SLEEP!”
Sleep can really save the day warns Morgan. “Some people play the whole game where they’re like, “Well, it’s this time there, and I’m going to stay awake till then and then get sleep here and then wake up then…” That’s a bad idea, says the country star.
“I’m like, “No, no, no, you’re going to feel pretty bad anyway. I’m all about sleeping when you can and finding the best coffee that you can in whatever town you are in. that’s kind of my schtick.”
