Celebrating "International ‘Country Music’ Day" With Ken Burns

Documentarian, Ken Burns has released a new documentary series entitled “Country Music” and comes just in time to celebrate International Country Music Day (Sept. 17th).

Ken, who is well-known for his documentaries on the “Civil War” and “Baseball” and “Vietnam” and launched his new eight-part, PBS documentary titled “Country Music” on Monday, Sept. 15.

In a recent interview with CMT Radio’s Cody Alan, Ken shared that the fabric of this documentary is tightly woven by “very elemental basic human emotions that everybody experiences in their life.”
