You have really made it when Dennis Quaid plays a role in your music video.
That’s what happened for Midland when Dennis agreed to play a role in Midland’s “Mr. Lonely” music video.
Shot on one of the most popular Netflix soundstages, Midland’s video starts out with a colorful honky tonk in the background, straight shooting pool sticks, and twirling line dancers gather in the room. A woman smoking a cigarette and donning a black tattoo sets the scene with a simple question, “Remember me?”

Midland’s bandmembers may be familiar to Dennis Quaid’s character. Let's face it, life on the road can be lonely. In a recent sit down with the trio, Cody Alan asked the tough question, “Who do you call when your lonely?” “I call Moviefone to hear what kind of movies are out there.” Says Jess Carson. Cameron Duddy chimed in with an earnest, “I call my wife once a week crying.” Mark Wystrach laughed, “I call Jess to see what movies are playing.” Lonely is sometimes served with a side of comedy.
