Kacey Musgraves Makes Coachella Debut With Giant Disco Ball

Country meets Coachella!

Kacey Musgraves gave Indio, CA a little taste of country music during opening day of Coachella with her first ever performance at the California music festival. The festival, which is usually home to alternative rock, pop and hip-hop acts, took a break from the upbeat for a more reserved set from Kacey. Musgraves performed many of her hits off her Grammy award-winning album 'Golden Hour' and fans across the entire festival were singing along.

“Holy s— Coachella! You guys look beautiful this golden hour!”

Kacey's setlist also included songs such as “Butterflies,” “Oh, What a World,” “Velvet Elvis,” “Rainbow” and “High Horse.” from her Grammy award-winning album and a few of her older hits.

“This is my first Coachella ever, never been. Needless to say, I’m very excited,” she said. “We’re going to forget everything else because we’re alive and it’s f—— awesome.”

Kacey will return for Weekend 2 at Coachella Music Festival.
