Paris Jackson Speaks About Her 'Mellow' Reaction To 'Leaving Neverland' Doc

Paris Jackson has (once again) shut down reports that she attempted to commit suicide after the growing controversy of Leaving Neverland, the HBO documentary that chronicles the allegations of sexual abuse centered around her late father Michael Jackson.

On Tuesday (March 19), the 20-year-old star took to Twitter to address the rumors once again. "They didn't get the crazy reaction they wanted from the doc, and a chill, mellow reaction doesn’t sell stories so why not lie and create a story that does sell?" she explained. "Pathetic." Jackson's reference is regarding TMZ's report that she was placed on a 5150 hold and hospitalized after attempting to commit suicide on Saturday. Shortly after the report, she hit back, tweeting, "F**k you you f**king liars." Meanwhile, Tony Im, a public information officer with the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that "at about 7:28 a.m., officers responded to the 7200 block of Hillside for an ambulance attempt suicide."

Earlier this month, MJ's famed daughter took to Twitter to offer some subliminal messages that many assumed were in reference to the documentary. "Y'all take my life more seriously than i do. calm yo tittaaaaysss," she wrote in a message to her 1.32 million followers, before giving some further insight into her state of mind. "I didn’t mean to offend by expressing that t*tties should be calm, i know injustices are frustrating and it’s easy to get worked up. but reacting with a calm mind usually is more logical than acting out of rage and also.... it feels better to mellow out." In a follow-up tweet, the star suggested folks "smoke some week n think about the bigger picture." "Chillax my dudes," she added to the message.
