Randy Travis Details His Life In New Book, “Forever and Ever, Amen”

There are a lot of lessons to be learned from Randy Travis.

On May 14th, Randy will share his experiences and struggles in his memoir, ‘Forever and Ever, Amen: A Memoir of Music, Faith, and Braving the Storms of Life.’

“I didn’t really feel I had a book to write until I stood on the distant shore and looked back over the ripples my life has made — on myself and on others. My songs were the stories of my life and I learned from those who listened, they were theirs too — my fans inspired me and continue to do so.” says Randy in a statement.

Being one of the most iconic voices of our time, Randy boasts a healthy list of professional milestones. The 59-year-old singer, has sold over 25 million records, won six Grammy Awards, six CMA Awards, nine ACM Awards, ten AMA Awards, eight Dove Awards, and has a star on the Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. His personal life, however, hasn’t been as glamorous or easy. This book will be a testament to his working-class upbringing, successful music career, struggles with addiction, medical issues, broken relationships.
