Taylor Swift's 'Reputation Stadium Tour' Is The Highest-Grossing U.S. Tour

Taylor Swift's "reputation Stadium Tour" has made history, folks.

As per a recent announcement from Billboard Boxscore, the trek has grossed $266.1 million and sold 2,068,399 tickets, pushing past The Rolling Stones' $245 million gross from 2005-07’s "A Bigger Band Tour." To make the achievement even more worthwhile, the pop titan was able to do so with just 38 shows, while The Stones' milestone arrived after 70 sets across America. The "reputation Stadium Tour" ran across America from May 8 up until October 6.

Swift previously broke her own record for the highest grossing domestic tour by a woman when the aforementioned surpassed “The 1989 World Tour" and its $181.5 million benchmark in August.

In related news, Swift recently signed a new record deal with Universal Music Group, which will serve as the exclusive worldwide recorded music partner for the singer. UMG's Republic Records will serve as her label partner in the United States. Swift's previous deal with Big Machine Records — an imprint of UMG — had expired on November 10 when the one-year anniversary of the release of reputation, freed her from the label.

"I'm ecstatic to announce that my musical home will be Republic Records and Universal Music Group," Swift captioned a shot of her, Sir Lucien Grainge and Monte Lipman during the announcement. "Over the years, Sir Lucian Grainge and Monte Lipman have been such incredible partners. It's so thrilling to me that they, and the UMG team, will be my label family moving forward. It's also incredibly exciting to know that I'll own all of my master recordings that I make from now on."
