A very pregnant Carrie Underwood has the best — and cheapest — solution for what to do when her clothes no longer fit like they used to: borrow her husband's!
The country superstar, who is currently expecting her second child with hubby Mike Fisher, revealed she isn't too proud to flaunt her blooming baby bump while rocking her man's wardrobe in public.
“Officially wearing Mike’s clothes in public now, so… #pregnant #MyClothesDontFit #sorrybabe,” the "Spinning Bottles" star tweeted Wednesday (November 28). Taken with a touch of humor, the former ice hockey pro jokingly replied to his wife's confession, quipping, "How dare you stretch my clothes."
The 35-year-old's second bundle of joy, a baby boy, is only a few months away from his due date. We learned this news last week when Taylor Dye of the country duo Maddie & Tae spilled the beans in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. "January," Dye said when asked about it at the 2018 CMA Awards. "And we've already offered to babysit."
It was at the annual country music ceremony where Underwood made the gender reveal announcement of her second child as well.
The "Cry Pretty" songbird, who welcomed her firstborn with the athlete, son Isaiah, in 2015, revealed in a September 2018 interview that she suffered three miscarriages while trying for a second child.
"We got pregnant early 2017, and didn't work out," she told CBS Sunday Morning, adding, "And that was the thing, in the beginning, it was like, ‘Okay, God, we know this is, just wasn’t Your timing. And that is all right. We will bounce back and figure our way through it.'"
