Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini Among Billboard 200 Top 10

Country music fared well on this week’s Billboard all-genre chart.

New releases from both Blake Shelton and Kelsea Ballerini took spots in the Top 10 on the new Billboard 200 chart, which ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

Blake’s Texoma Shore finished at No. 4 with 63,000 copies sold (55,000 in traditional album sales), giving Blake his 11th Top 10 album in his career.

Kelsea’s Unapologetically debuted at No. 7 with 44,000 units sold (35,000 in traditional album sales), earning the singer her first Top 10 album on the Billboard 200 and making her only the fourth female country act to reach the top 10 in 2017.

Kid Rock’s Sweet Southern Sugar lands at No. 8 with 43,000 copies sold, while Kenny Chesney’s Live in No Shoes Nation takes the No. 6 spot in its second week following a No. 1 debut last week.

Pop singer Sam Smith scores the No. 1 spot this week with his sophomore effort The Thrill of It All.
