Taylor Swift Sends Flowers to Officer Wounded in Las Vegas Shooting

Life is blooming for the Los Angeles Police Department thanks to one kind gesture from a pop megastar.

Taylor sent the LAPD’s Foothill Community Police Station multiple bouquets of flowers after one of their officers was shot this weekend at the Route 91 Harvest festival shooting.

LAPD Intel Analyst Kimberlee Binder called the former country star a “class act” in the caption of a photo of one bouquet.

“This is one of the smaller arrangements,” she says. “Beautiful flowers can bring a smile to anyone’s face. Much respect.”

The LAPD confirms a female officer was shot in the knee at the festival during what is now being called the worst mass shooting in modern American history. A total of 527 people were injured in the attack, while 59 others lost their lives.

Taylor originally offered her reaction in a Twitter post just hours after the shooting.

“There are no words to express the helplessness and sorrow my broken heart feels for the victims in Vegas and their families,” she wrote.
