Brothers Osborne is joining the country music community and the world at large in sending hope and positivity to Las Vegas following a mass shooting Sunday (Oct. 1) at the city’s Route 91 Harvest festival.
The duo, who performed at the country music festival on Friday (9/29), took to social media to remember the “pure happiness floating thru the air.”

“We are completely devastated by these tragic events that happened in Vegas last night. We can only imagine the flood of emotions you all must be feeling and for that we send our love and prayers to you all,” Brothers Osborne says. “After our set on Friday, we talked about how you were one of the best groups of people we’ve ever played for. So much love. So much joy. So much pure happiness floating thru the air. I know it might be hard but don’t lose those feelings. Those emotions are sacred. Don’t let a coward take that from you. We wish that we could reach our arms around every damn one of you and your families right now. Hold on tight to the ones you love. We love you all and will be keeping you forever in our thoughts.”
While Chris Young, Jake Owen, Kane Brown and others also performed Sunday at Route 91, Jason Aldean was on stage when “hundreds” of shots began, according to CNN. Jason, his crew and wife Brittany have been confirmed safe.

As of Monday at 2 P.M. ET, at least 58 people had been confirmed dead and another 515 were injured in the attack.
Suspect Stephen Paddock, 64, is dead, according to authorities.
