Blake Shelton just gave the television debut performance of his brand-new single.
The country megastar performed “I’ll Name the Dogs” for the first-time ever last weekend during the Canadian Country Music Awards.
In a fan-captured clip, Blake smiles as he sings the doggy ditty about setting down with that special someone.
“‘I’ll Name The Dogs’ is a bit of a throwback song for me,” Blake says. “It brings the sound back a little more traditional for a minute, which I felt like needed to happen musically for me.”
The video for the track features Blake as a wedding singer and guest appearances by girlfriend Gwen Stefani’s sons.
The up-tempo track is the first taste of a new album from Blake, who also just last month released his Blake Shelton Live EP. No official word when BS’s new album will drop.
