Cody Alan Joins Chase Bryant to Help Hurricane Victims

CMT's Cody Alan recently joined Chase Bryant in the CMT radio studio to discuss the tragedy in the singer's home state of Texas.

Hurricane Harvey, now a tropical storm, first caused severe damage in Rockport, Texas, on Friday (8/25) before moving to Houston and other parts of southeast Texas on Saturday, bringing flooding and sustained winds of a reported 75 mph in its path.

Still, Cody, who also once called Texas home, has hope for the Lonestar State.

"Texans are strong people," he says. "They bounce back, and they will again."
