Dierks Bentley’s going from seat 7A to “Somewhere On A Beach.”
The country megastar world premieres his fresh new single, a sequel to his 2014 smash “Drunk On A Plane,” today exclusively with iHeartRadio.
“Beach” picks up where “Drunk” finishes after the plane makes its landing and finds the scorned passenger with a new lady love who “got it goin’ on.”
“This album is about ALL phases of a relationship, including the breakups,” Dierks says of his forthcoming release Black. “‘Beach’ is a pretty blunt take on that wild rebound we’ve all had or maybe imagined having. The carefree attitude is exactly the spirit we wanted to bring out on the road this year.”
The new co-host of the ACM Awards also announces his Somewhere On A Beach Tour, featuring opening acts Randy Houser and Cam.
The trek kicks off in the U.S. on May 12 in Holmdel, N.J., following a string of tour dates in Europe. (See the full list of dates below.)
