A pop icon has got a thing for “I Got the Boy.”
Britney Spears took to Twitter to share her love for Jana Kramer’s smash hit, which happened to be co-written by the “Oops!... I Did It Again” singer’s younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears.
“So proud of @jamielynnspears for writing #IGotTheBoy by @kramergirl,” Brit posted. “Got it on repeat & I recommend you do the same!”
Britney isn’t the only famous fan of the emotional ballad about a long lost love. Carrie Underwood has let her “I Got the Boy” fan girl out multiple times on social media, including one Instagram video of herself singing along.
Jamming along to @kramergirl in the car... #LoveThisSong,” Carrie captioned.
“I Got the Boy,” which just reached the Top 10 on the charts, marks Jana’s highest-charting song since her debut single “Why Ya Wanna.”
