The Wreckers To Reunite for One Night Only

The Wreckers are coming “Way Back Home” to country music.

The duo, made up of Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp, will reunite for the first time since their split in 2008 Sunday (8/13) at Michelle’s tour stop in Nashville.

The singer, who originally found major success as a solo artist in pop music, tells the Tennessean she and Jessica will perform a few songs at the Marathon Music Works show, adding the two haven’t seen each other in seven years.

The Wreckers shot to country superstardom in 2006 with the release of their debut album Stand Still, Look Pretty, which produced the No. 1 single “Leave the Pieces.” The track earned the duo a Grammy nomination later that year for best country performance by a duo or group with vocal.

The Wreckers’ live album, Way Back Home: Live from New York, followed in 2007 before a sophomore release was shelved by their record label at the time.

Michelle’s latest album Hopeless Romantic, her first solo album in 14 years, is available now.
