When you’re the most awarded country band of the past decade, you’d think accolades would start to get old.
But that’s not the case for Rascal Flatts.
The country trio’s latest single “Yours If You Want It” has officially gone No. 1, earning Gary, Jay and Joe Don the 17th chart topper of their career.
“Each one of them are very, very special so you remember the ones that go all the way to the top,” Jay says of No. 1 songs. “And we can’t even believe that we had one, let alone this many, and have been able to have a career this long we feel very blessed.”
Getting to sing No. 1 songs is not an idea that’s lost on Rascal Flatts.
“It’s one of those things that kind of blow us away every time we stop and think about how far we’ve come and how long we’ve been able to do this and how great the fans have been over the years,” the band’s bassist adds.
