You won’t be able to forget Thomas Rhett’s brand-new single.
The country superstar tells The Tennessean his new single is entitled “Unforgettable” and will drop July 28.
The up-tempo love song chronicles a man’s vivid memories of meeting that special someone.
“It’s a song about reminding the girl that you’re with today, ‘Hey, I remember every single detail of the night we met,’” Thomas says. “I think it’s something girls will find sweet and attractive about someone they like. It’s one of [my wife] Lauren’s favorite songs on the record... which definitely makes me feel better about it.”
In a preview of the song to hit the web, TR sings of remembering everything from a girl’s “blue jeans to [her] shoes.”
“I bet right now you’re probably thinking that it’s crazy I remember every detail, but I do / From your blue jeans to your shoes, girl, that night was just like you / Unforgettable,” he sings in the song’s chorus.
“Unforgettable” is the second single from Thomas’ forthcoming third studio album—due out later this fall. Click here to listen.
